NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Arrives at Forza Horizon 6

NVIDIA has announced a wave of new game integrations for its RTX technologies, led by the launch of Forza Horizon 6 and an upcoming bundle featuring the highly anticipated 007 First Light. The company also released a new GeForce Game Ready Driver to optimize performance for this week’s major titles.

DLSS 4.5 Boosts Forza Horizon 6 Performance

Forza Horizon 6, which enters Early Access on Friday, May 15, and sees its general release on May 19, will support both DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS Multi Frame Generation out of the box. This integration delivers a massive performance boost, especially at 4K with max settings and ray tracing enabled. GeForce RTX 50 Series desktop GPU owners can expect an average performance multiplier of 5.2X, allowing the GeForce RTX 5090 to run the game at over 330 FPS, the GeForce RTX 5080 at over 230 FPS, and the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti at over 200 FPS.

New Titles Embrace RTX Technology

Several other games are adding or launching with support for DLSS and RTX features this week:

  • Directive 8020: The cinematic sci-fi horror adventure from Supermassive Games is now available. It features path-traced lighting and effects, enhanced by DLSS Ray Reconstruction, with DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation maximizing performance.
  • Subnautica 2: Entering Early Access on May 14, this underwater survival game supports DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation at launch. Players can upgrade these via the NVIDIA app to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS 4.5 Multi Frame Generation 6X Mode.
  • Blades of Fire: The dark fantasy adventure launches on Steam on May 14 alongside a massive v2.0 update. Version 2.0 introduces DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation, which can also be upgraded to the DLSS 4.5 variants.
  • Battlefield 6: Season 3 is now live, introducing reimagined classic maps like Railway to Golmud and Cairo Bazaar. The game continues to support a full suite of NVIDIA technologies, including DLSS Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, DLAA, and NVIDIA Reflex.

007 First Light Bundle Announced

Ahead of its May 27 launch, NVIDIA is offering a new 007 First Light GeForce RTX 50 Series bundle. The action-adventure game, which follows a young James Bond recruit, will feature uncapped framerate, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, and DLSS Dynamic Multi Frame Generation at launch. Full path tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction are slated to arrive in Summer 2026.

The bundle includes a Steam copy of 007 First Light with the purchase of qualifying GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, 5070, or 5060 Ti desktops or graphics cards, or laptops with equivalent Laptop GPUs. Gamers can also participate in a social media contest using #007FirstLightRTX for a chance to win prizes, including a customized GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition graphics card.
