Nvidia GeForce Day’s GEXT finals is among the highlights!
Gamers from all over the Philippines were treated with loads of fun and exciting activities at the GeForce Day 2017. Held at SM City North EDSA in Manila as the final stop of a series of GeForce Days that took place across the Philippines, the venue was like a gamer’s heaven with delightful goodies that gamers dream of. On show were the award-winning Pascal-based line-up of GeForce® 10 Series of graphic processing units (GPUs), including the highly popular GeForce GTX 1050.
Fast and powerful and energy-efficient, the GeForce GTX 1050 turns the PC into a true gaming rig. Loaded with innovative NVIDIA Game Ready technologies, it lets every gamer experience the latest titles in their full glory. As an icing to the cake, gamers won eight GeForce GTX 1050 cards and other gaming devices in the hourly raffle.
GeForce Day was packed with engaging activities for all participants. For starters, the first 300 to arrive received premium items from NVIDA and its partners Corsair, Galax, MSI, and Zotac.
Cosplayers took part in a competition with 15,000 Philippine peso worth of prizes. The cosplay was opened to online/video game or any game-related character. The finals of the month-long GeForce eSports Xtreme Tournament (GEXT) in the Philippines was held during GeForce Day. Teams competed in Defense of the Ancients 2 (DOTA 2) for a slice of the US$75,000 worth of prizes up for grabs across the region.
