It’s been a while since Nvidia released their GTX 970, and ZOTAC is wasting no time to prepare a behemoth based on the said GFX card.
The GeForce GTX 970 AMP! Extreme Core Edition is one of ZOTAC’s latest factory overclocked GTX 970 to come with the “Core” edition moniker. Looks alone it’s sexy, but it also hides a beast underneath that shroud with a 1380 MHz turbo core clock speed, and a 7200 MHz memry frequency (1800 MHz). – One of the fastest we have seen yet, and it’s under air cooling to boot.
3 fan configuration is just appropriate, with a back plate to help hold things up. Surprisingly, ZOTAC had this card equipped with a standard 4GB GDDR5 memory, so for those waiting for the “rumored” GTX 970s with 8GB VRAM, then it might not be possible to see a card like that in the near future.
Dimensions are still sketchy along with the price, but prepare at-least 11 inches of available length if you wish to buy one. Learn more about the card HERE, and read our review of the ZOTAC GTX 970 to check out the performance of the GTX 970.
