ZOTAC International, a global manufacturer of innovation, proudly announce the launch of the ZOTAC CUP PREMIER, a new tier of ZOTAC CUP eSports competition only for aspiring professionals with a $20,000 USD prize pool and with its landmark debut tournament scheduled to be held in Southeast Asian Regions including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
ZOTAC CUP has been a major platform of free-to-play online cups for worldwide gamers over a decade, and since last year, the competition stage has gone offline with the ZOTAC CUP MASTERS featuring top pro global teams. In response to the growth of eSports, ZOTAC launches the new ZOTAC CUP PREMIER, which is specially designed to be open for any emerging SEA gamers with skill to join and push their rise to the top.
“ZOTAC CUP PREMIER aims to create an avenue to kickstart a new generation of eSports talent. And by setting up an amateur tournament for the SEA eSports community, we hope to give up-and-coming DOTA 2 players in the region a chance to test and show their skill,” said Chinny Chuang, ZOTAC Global Director of Marketing.
With an open invitation to any non-pro teams in Southeast Asia, ZOTAC CUP PREMIER: DOTA 2 SEA will determine the top six DOTA 2 teams by Online Qualifiers throughout the region, cumulating in an offline live final event in Bangkok, Thailand.
