ASUS ROG Secures Hardware Partnership for 2026 PGL Season

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has finalized a deal to become the official hardware supplier for the PGL 2026 esports circuit. The agreement covers all tournament stages, from qualifiers to the Grand Finals in Romania, ensuring standardized equipment for every competing athlete.

Tournament Hardware Specs

The partnership focuses on high-refresh-rate displays and the new “PGL Esports Station” PC builds.

  • The Monitor: Matches will be played on the ROG Strix XG248QSG Ace. This 24.1-inch FHD display uses a Super-TN panel and supports a 610 Hz overclocked refresh rate with ELMB 2 motion blur reduction.
  • The PC: The official tournament rig pairs the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an ASUS Prime GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The build runs on a TUF Gaming X870E-Plus WiFi 7 motherboard and draws power from a TUF Gaming 1000 W Gold PSU.

Peripherals

Players will have access to the ROG Ace line, specifically designed for competitive play:

  • Mouse: ROG Harpe II Ace (48 g weight, 42,000 dpi, 8 kHz wireless polling).
  • Keyboard: ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE (Magnetic switches with rapid trigger support and 8 kHz polling).
  • Audio: ROG Delta II headset (Tri-mode wireless, 50 mm drivers, 110-hour battery).

ASUS also plans to install fan booths at arena events, allowing attendees to test the same configurations used by the pros on stage.
