ASUS ROG to Release Strix OLED XG32U Series in September

ASUS ROG is set to release the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG, two 4K WOLED gaming monitors – this September. These are the first 4K WOLED monitors to feature TrueBlack Glossy film, an anti-reflective coating designed to reduce screen glare.

The monitors include a one-tap FHD mode for esports, allowing the XG32UCWMG to reach 480 Hz and the XG32UCWG to reach 330 Hz. Both models also come with an OLED Care Pro suite and a Neo Proximity sensor to help prevent screen burn-in. Their compact stands are designed to save desk space.

Improved OLED Display

The TrueBlack Glossy film, developed for ROG, combines an optical layer with an anti-reflective coating. This reduces ambient reflections by 38% compared to previous glossy WOLED panels. This helps maintain deep black colors and can reduce eye strain. Additionally, the ASUS Clear Pixel Edge algorithm aims to make text and fine lines appear sharper by addressing color fringing.

Dual-Mode Functionality

The XG32U series can switch between 4K visuals and a Dual mode for competitive gaming. This mode provides FHD resolution at 480 Hz for the XG32UCWMG and 330 Hz for the XG32UCWG. Features like Extreme Low Motion Blur and OLED Anti-Flicker work to keep images smooth, even with variable refresh rates. An Aspect-Ratio Control option allows for 24-inch and 27-inch window sizes, with optimized resolution for FPS games.

Built-in Panel Protection

The OLED Care Pro suite includes features like pixel refreshes, image shifting, and limited logo brightness to protect the panel from burn-in. The Neo Proximity sensor detects when a user leaves the monitor and automatically dims the screen, brightening it instantly upon return. The detection distance can be adjusted. Each XG32U series monitor includes a three-year burn-in warranty.

Convenient Setup

The monitors feature an ultracompact stand that takes up 45% less space than previous 32-inch ROG OLED monitors. This stand offers full tilt, swivel, and height adjustments. The DisplayWidget Center software allows users to adjust settings, use Auto KVM, and check for firmware updates. Auto KVM enables switching between two connected computers with a single keyboard and mouse. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C with 15-watt power delivery, and a headphone jack.

Availability and Pricing

The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG will be available in the Philippines starting September 2025 for a suggested retail price (SRP) of PHP 70,000.
