Kingston Announces Workstation DDR5-7600 and 30 TB SSD

Kingston has expanded its hardware hardware portfolio, introducing higher-speed FURY Renegade DDR5 workstation memory, a security-hardened IronKey USB flash drive, and a new 30.72 TB high-capacity option for its PCIe 5.0 enterprise SSD line.

The launches target memory-intensive workloads like on-premises AI training, data science, secure field operations, and enterprise data center scaling.

Kingston FURY Renegade Pro DDR5 RDIMM

Designed for workstations and high-end desktops (HEDT) utilizing Intel XMP or AMD EXPO profiles, this overclockable Registered DIMM (RDIMM) lineup now reaches speeds up to 7,600 MT/s.

To manage the thermal output of high-bandwidth workloads, the 7,200 MT/s and 7,600 MT/s modules feature newly designed aluminum heat spreaders. The modules support overclocking while retaining On-Die and Side-Band Error-Correcting Code (ECC) to maintain data integrity during data science and engineering simulations.

  • Speeds: 5,600 MT/s to 7,600 MT/s
  • Capacities: 16 GB to 256 GB kits
  • Target Workloads: On-prem AI development, engineering simulations, professional content creation

Kingston IronKey Locker+ 50 G2 USB Flash Drive

The Locker+ 50 G2 provides hardware-encrypted storage with FIPS 197 certification and AES 256-bit encryption in XTS mode. It includes digitally signed firmware to block BadUSB exploits and built-in protection against brute-force attacks.

The drive operates natively on Windows 11 and macOS without requiring software installation. Security management options include:

  • Dual Password Support: Distinct Admin and User access credentials.
  • Flexible Input Modes: Supports Complex mode (6–16 characters) or Passphrase mode (10–64 characters, including sentences or PINs).
  • Brute-Force Countermeasures: Automatically locks after 10 failed User login attempts and triggers a cryptographic erase after repeated Admin failures.
  • Keylogger Defense: Employs a virtual onscreen keyboard to bypass physical hardware loggers.

Kingston DC3000ME Gen5 U.2 NVMe SSD

Kingston has added a 30.72 TB capacity tier to its enterprise-grade DC3000ME U.2 NVMe SSD line. Operating on a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface, the drive is engineered for high-density server deployments and read-intensive data center applications.

  • NAND Architecture: 3D Enterprise TLC (eTLC) NAND
  • Data Protection: On-board Power Loss Protection (PLP) via hardware capacitors to safeguard inflight data during sudden power failures.
  • Security & Compliance: AES 256-bit encryption and TCG Opal 2.0 Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) functionality.
  • Available Capacities: 3.84 TB to 30.72 TB
  • Warranty: 5-year limited warranty

The SSD delivers sequential reads up to 14 GB/s and random read performance up to 2.8 million IOPS. It maintains backward compatibility with PCIe 4.0 infrastructure, allowing mixed-generation server deployment.
