Ahead of its intended schedule, FSR Upscaling 4.1 is now available for Radeon RX 7000 Series (RDNA 3) graphics cards through the newly released AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.2 driver.
Previously limited to RDNA 4 hardware, FSR 4.1 brings AI-based upscaling to the RX 7000 lineup for the first time. The technology promises sharper image quality, better temporal stability, and performance uplift across more than 300 supported titles. It’s a notable expansion of the Radeon ecosystem, giving owners of last-generation cards access to upscaling that was, until now, reserved for buyers of newer hardware like the RX 9000 series.

For gamers running RDNA 3 APUs rather than discrete GPUs, AMD says it is developing new lightweight machine learning models to bring FSR 4.1 support to that segment as well, though no specific timeline has been given.
Beyond the FSR 4.1 rollout, the 26.6.2 driver includes day-one support for two titles: Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced and DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations. The update also includes stability fixes for the vast majority of Radeon graphics owners.
AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.2 is available now from AMD’s support page. Gamers who need to roll back to a previous driver version are advised to use the AMD Cleanup Utility before reinstalling.
