AMD recently launched AMD ROCm™ 5.7, expanding its support to the AMD Radeon™ RX 7900 XT GPU in addition to the Radeon™ RX 7900 XTX and Radeon™ PRO W7900 GPUs for Machine Learning (ML) development workflows with PyTorch.

The Radeon RX 7900 XT GPU, featuring the RDNA™ 3 architecture, boasts 20GB of on-board memory and 168 AI accelerators, providing AI developers and researchers with additional options for accelerating ML training and inference on local desktops.

For PyTorch users seeking a local client solution, the inclusion of the Radeon RX 7900 XT GPU enhances their choices to harness the parallel computing power of desktop GPUs, reducing dependence on cloud-based solutions.
