ASUS Unveils Featherweight ROG Harpe II Ace Mouse

COMPUTEX 2025 saw the unveiling of the ROG Harpe II Ace, which is the direct successor to the critically acclaimed Harpe Ace gaming mouse, co-developed with Aimlabs.

Weighing a mere 48 grams, which is 11% lighter than its predecessor, the Harpe II Ace achieves this remarkable feat thanks to its bio-based nylon construction. Sourced from castor oil, this innovative material not only sheds weight but also boasts enhanced impact resistance and a 70% smaller carbon footprint compared to standard nylon.

ASUS reiterated that performance is paramount with the Harpe II Ace. It features ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless technology for an astounding 8000 Hz polling rate, driven by a next-gen MCU chip. Coupled with the 42,000 DPI ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor, both ensures flawless tracking, even on glass, while ROG-exclusive optical micro switches, rated for 100 million clicks, deliver crisp, rapid actuation.

Developed with direct input from esports pros like VALORANT’s Demon1, the Harpe II Ace’s refined shape caters to both claw and fingertip grips, offering improved lift and hand balance. Its smooth, matte finish and large PTFE feet ensure a secure grip and fluid movement.

For serious competitors, Zone Mode streamlines performance by optimizing hardware settings: an 8000 Hz polling rate, constant active state, disabled RGB, and disconnected ROG Gear Link. Speaking of which, ROG Gear Link allows for web-browser-based configuration, eliminating the need for software downloads, perfect for pro gamers on the go.

Nothing has been said about its availability, nor pricing yet but expect a similar price-point to its predecessor.
