The G.SKILL DDR5-8400 memory kit comes with CL40-52-52-134 timings and features a 48GB (2x 24 GB) kit capacity. This high-speed memory kit has undergone validation on the Intel® Core™ i9-14900K desktop processor and ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Encore motherboard, showcasing remarkable memory bandwidth speeds of 128.88 GB/s for read, 127.03 GB/s for write and 123.83 GB/s for copy in the AIDA64 memory bandwidth benchmark.
A Glimpse into the Future with DDR5-8600
Exploring the boundaries of memory overclocking capabilities on the most recent platform, G.SKILL is also presenting a DDR5 2x 24 GB memory kit operating at DDR5-8600 CL40-54-54-136. This memory kit was tested on the Intel® Core™ i9-14900K desktop processor and ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Encore motherboard, achieving an astonishing memory bandwidth score of 130.66 GB/s for read, 130.24 GB/s for write, and 126.31 GB/s for copy in the AIDA64 memory bandwidth test.
Availability and Support for Intel XMP 3.0 Profiles
The new DDR5-8400 memory kit supports Intel XMP 3.0 memory overclock profiles, simplifying the memory kit’s overclocking process. Users can easily activate the XMP overclock profile in the BIOS when using a compatible motherboard and processor.
This high-performance memory kit model will become part of the G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB product family and could be obtainable through G.SKILL’s authorized distribution partners by the end of October this year.
