Showcased at COMPUTEX 2025, the GIGABYTE M27UP is a new 27-inch gaming monitor designed to offer adaptability for various gaming scenarios. This display allows gamers to switch between a 4K resolution at 160 Hz and an FHD resolution at 320 Hz.
Pictured below is the M27UP ICE but apart from the white colorway, what’s underneath the facade is practically the same with the standard M27UP.
Tactical Dual-Mode for Flexible Viewing
A key feature of the M27UP is its Tactical Dual-Mode, accessible via the Tactical Switch 2.0 button. This allows for quick changes from a full 27-inch display to a 24-inch view, or to 4:3 or 5:4 aspect ratios. This functionality is intended to provide options for different types of games and content.
Display Features and Performance
The M27UP offers 95% DCI-P3 color gamut and a 1 ms GTG response time and is DisplayHDR 400 certified. The monitor includes an AI Picture Mode with six presets for different content types: FPS, MOBA, Movie, Racing, RPG, and Reader.
Smart OD is also included, which adjusts overdrive settings to reduce motion blur. The M27UP supports features commonly found on other GIGABYTE monitors such as the M27QA gaming monitor that we reviewed a while back.
Design and Connectivity
For heat management, the M27UP incorporates a fanless four-sided thermal solution. Its design includes a 2 mm metal base for stability. Connectivity options include KVM functionality, USB-C smart charging up to 45 W, and an integrated 5 W dual speakers.
