GIGABYTE Marks 40 Years With Limited-Edition Hardware

PC hardware manufacturer GIGABYTE has reached its 40th anniversary, tracking a four-decade trajectory from a component startup founded in 1986 to an enterprise AI and consumer hardware ecosystem brand.

To anchor the 2026 milestone, the company announced its “ENTER INFINITY” campaign, charting its ongoing expansion into cloud-to-edge intelligent computing alongside its core gaming and creator product lines.

Four Decades of Hardware Iteration

GIGABYTE’s market presence has historically relied on proprietary component standards and hardware optimization. The company’s legacy portfolio is defined by several key hardware developments:

  • Ultra Durable Design: A manufacturing architecture prioritizing component lifespan and structural stability.
  • Super Overclock Series: Enthusiast-grade components engineered for high-frequency performance and tuning.
  • Project STEALTH: A recent assembly standard designed to relocate PC cabling to the back of the board for cleaner system integration.

These hardware lines have secured recurring industry recognition over the decades, including design and engineering placements at the CES Innovation Awards, COMPUTEX Best Choice Awards, Red Dot Design Awards, and iF Design Awards.

Anniversary and Community Campaign

As part of the anniversary promotional schedule, GIGABYTE is launching the “My Perfect Setup” consumer initiative. The campaign serves as a platform to highlight user setups while serving as a promotional vehicle for a new tier of commemorative hardware.

Participants who submit their hardware layouts to the digital 40th Anniversary Wall of Fame enter a pool to win an unreleased 40th Anniversary Limited-Edition Motherboard and custom gift packs.
