Kingston Technology has been named the world’s top third-party DRAM module supplier by revenue for the 22nd straight year, according to new data from analyst firm TrendForce. The report shows Kingston commanding an estimated 66% of the global market in 2024.
The total DRAM module market recovered in 2024, growing 7% year-over-year to a total revenue of $13.3 billion, reversing a sharp decline from the previous year. The market remains highly consolidated, with the top five module houses accounting for 81% of all sales. Kingston’s position remains dominant, with its closest competitor holding just 5% of the market share.

Market dynamics in late 2023 saw major suppliers prioritize high-demand server and high-bandwidth memory, which tightened the supply of other DRAM types and drove prices up in early 2024. While this spurred initial sales growth, higher prices later suppressed consumer demand in the second half of the year.
“The 2024 findings from TrendForce reflect our company’s ongoing strength and adaptability,” said Kingston. “This milestone reaffirms Kingston’s dominant presence in the market and underscores our resilience and significance within the industry.”
Kingston also highlighted its commitment to the high-performance sector with the release of its limited edition 8000 MT/s Kingston FURY Renegade DDR5 RGB modules and new CUDIMMs compatible with Intel’s upcoming 800-series chipset.
