NVIDIA has unveiled the Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, a compact generative AI supercomputer priced at $249—half the cost of its predecessor.
This developer kit offers a 1.7x increase in generative AI inference performance, achieving 67 INT8 TOPS, and boosts memory bandwidth by 50% to 102GB/s.
Designed for a wide range of users, including commercial AI developers, hobbyists, and students, the Jetson Orin Nano Super is ideal for creating large language model (LLM) chatbots, visual AI agents, and AI-based robots. The developer kit includes a Jetson Orin Nano 8 GB system-on-module (SoM) and a reference carrier board, featuring an NVIDIA Ampere architecture GPU with tensor cores and a 6-core Arm CPU. It supports up to four cameras, offering higher resolution and frame rates than previous versions.
NVIDIA has also released software updates that enhance generative AI performance for existing Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit owners. These updates are available for the Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano series of systems on modules, allowing developers to unlock boosted performance by upgrading the JetPack SDK.
The Jetson Orin Nano Super is now available for purchase, providing an accessible platform for those interested in developing skills in generative AI, robotics, or computer vision.
